CCEnergy opens new headquarters in San Rafael

September 23, 2002, San Rafael, California - Cooperative Community Energy, a California solar sales and service cooperative corporation has opened its headquarters in San Rafael. CCEnergy is a buyer's co-op providing quality renewable energy equipment and services to its members at up to 25% below retail prices. The downtown San Rafael location of CCEnergy's central office serves as a central location for employees and volunteers to convene from branch offices in Davis, Santa Rosa, Oakland, and Palm Springs. CCEnergy continues to expand sales and services to handle a growing number of residential and business customers. CCEnergy's central office will also conduct workshops and seminars on site. True to the cooperative spirit, most of the equipment and furniture for this central office was acquired at no cost due to the generosity of CCEnergy members.

CCEnergy members enjoy prices on solar photovoltaic systems at well below retail prices that include the co-op's full range of services such as a detailed energy audit, written installation proposal, and building permit and California Energy Commission rebate paperwork processing. In addition to saving time and money for its members, education also plays a major role in the co-op's mission.
